I studied geography and urban studies in school and have been working in Geographic Information Science (GIS) for 15 years. Since then, I have worked in some aspect of GIS from analysis, data creation and cartography to systems and servers. I am currently working full-time for a software company implementing work and asset management software for cities and counties, including GIS solutions.
Independently, I enjoy occasional side projects that are more creative in nature which make use of my cartography or photography skills. I recently collaborated on a story map with The Clark County Desert Conservation Program regarding local off-road vehicle trails. The project helps to bridge the gap between responsible recreation on public lands, and protection of desert resources. You can see it here
My current personal and artistic focus is photography. I have recently started showing a select few photos at the Art House in Downtown Las Vegas at 1229 S. Casino Blvd.
